A Celebration of Academic Excellence and Global Achievement
The Imperial Institute of Higher Education (IIHE) proudly held its 2024/2025 Convocation Ceremony on 25th April 2025 at the prestigious Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall , celebrating the academic accomplishments of its graduating students.
The event was graced by an esteemed lineup of guests and scholars:
- Chief Guest: Prof. Renuka Herath, Chairperson of Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT), and Vice President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Sri Lanka.
- Keynote Speaker: Senior Prof. Susirith Mendis, Emeritus Professor of Physiology and Former Vice Chancellor, University of Ruhuna (2007–2013).
- Special Faculty Recognition: Prof. Gunapala Nanayakkara, Former Advisor to the Minister of Education and Founding Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
The ceremony brought together students and academic staff from a wide range of programs, including the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UK), International Business Academy of Switzerland, Qualifi UK, and IIHE Foundation programs, marking a milestone in their academic journey.

Kiriella, Dr. Nissanka Mahale, Dr. Chalaka Subasignhe, Dr. Sidath Waidayasekara, Dr. Jude Fernando, Dr. Dilhan Sampath Jayatilleke, Ms. Prasadi Fernando, Ms. Fathima Ruzaika Rafeekdeen, Mr. Suranga Tennakoon, Ms. Kanthi Basnayake, Ms. Pubudika Rasangi, Ms. Merlyn Wijetunga, and Mr. Shihan Fernando proudly celebrated the achievements of their graduates.
